On behalf of our client, we are advertising. Cottesloe Hotel is looking for a skilled Conference & Events Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Conference & Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all functions, events, weddings, conventions, and conference sales efforts at the hotel. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's service standards, building, and nurturing client relationships, and adhering to the policies and procedures recognized throughout the group. The role involves continuous support to the Food & Beverage operations by ensuring smooth coordination and communication for all event activities.

Tasks & Duties:
1. Directly coordinate conferences, events, and weddings, ensuring seamless communication with relevant departments, including accommodation and food & beverage.
2. Maintain high standards of communication with clients and management, from initial inquiry through to event execution.
3. Handle client calls, provide quotes, update event orders, send confirmations, and manage all event-related information to ensure smooth operations.
4. Conduct pre- and post-event follow-up calls to maintain client satisfaction and secure future business.
5. Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan for functions and events,
including digital sales, direct sales, promotions, and site inspections.
6. Show initiative and enthusiasm in reaching sales targets, actively seeking new ways to secure business with a proactive and committed approach.
7. Maintain and update the sales database system “Sales Force,” tracking sales activity (pipeline report), client information, and bookings.
8. Follow up on proposals in a timely manner, build strong client relationships, and develop new business connections.

Skills & Experience Required:
1. At least 3 years relevant experience
2. Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Events Management or similar course
3. Computer literate
4. Attention to detail
5. Able to work well in a team

From $77,000 per annum + superannuation.
