Senior Environmental and Community Advisor ? Mining
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Environmental Advisor to work with one of Australia?s largest mining operations. With the option of FIFO from Brisbane or residential with relocation assistance. The role is based in the Bowen Basin, with a 9-day fortnight schedule.
Reporting directly to the Environmental Manager, you will lead a team of 2 environmental professionals. Providing leadership, technical advice, and operational support for environmental and community engagement activities.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing all environmental and compliance matters, coordinating and undertaking environmental management inspections, initiatives, training, and reporting.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as the local community, traditional owners, and other relevant parties.
About You:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the mining industry.
A degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or Natural Resource Management.
