Benefits Annual salary of $74,000 plus superannuation Task & Responsibilities The successful applicant will undertake the following tasks: Examine vehicles to assess the condition of systems and components, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and identifying any issues that need attention. Use specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to pinpoint the source of malfunctions in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems. Fix or swap out faulty components, such as worn-out brake pads, damaged belts, or malfunctioning electrical parts, restoring and re-assembling the vehicles parts for performance and safety. Carry out routine servicing tasks, like changing oil and filters, checking tire pressure, and testing batteries, to maintain vehicles in good working order and extend their lifespan After completing repairs, test the vehicle to confirm that the problem has been resolved and that the vehicle is running smoothly and safely. Operate and care for hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic machines, keeping them in good working condition and ready for use in various repair and maintenance tasks Qualification & Experience Relevant qualification(s) and at least 6 months of work experience.
