Job details
The Forklift Operator duties place a strong focus on picking goods in accordance with quantities and specifications as indicated on shipping orders, checking their condition and loading them appropriately and in compliance with polices and legislation. They are also responsible for unloading, receiving, relocating and storing incoming goods arriving by truck, container or any other means and transporting goods to the appropriate storage area.
When transporting product within the warehouse, storing product and performing loading and unloading operations, forklift operators are required to follow the Warehouse Management Traffic Plan and ensuring that their practices do not lead to damage of product, or breaches of company policies and / or legislation.
