Motor vehicle mechanic
Applicants must hold Cert 3 with two years on the job training or Cert 4 with experience preferred but not necessary
Expectations:
-Diagnose faults
-Proficiency with diagnostics computers (Snap-on & Autel)
-Vehicle inspection for safety & roadworthiness
-Removing and replacing engine, transmission, steering and suspension parts/components/assemblies
-Focus on brake repair and maintenance; disc and drum style, familiar with various makes/models
-Carry out scheduled maintenance including servicing, replacing consumables and keeping vehicles in line with pollution regulations
