Relevant Duties and Responsibilities
Working with the head chef and other kitchen staff to determine the contents and pricing of the menu, considering customer demand and seasonal trends.
Monitoring and ensuring monthly compliance with budgetary requirements and goals.
Developing and implementing sales and marketing activities to increase revenue and market share.
Managing inventory and ordering stock as required to ensure it is fresh and of high quality.
Making sure the dining area of the restaurant is presented to a high standard for the ultimate customer experience.
Ensuring company policies and procedures regarding occupational health and safety requirements are always upheld and embedded in the work culture.
Recruiting, rostering, training, and termination of staff. This includes conducting interviews, performance reviews, and staff development sessions.
Developing and implementing customer service policies to be applied across the restaurant by all staff.
Providing recommendations at company meetings regarding how to improve customer satisfaction based upon customer feedback received.
Preparing reservations and assisting guests, from special occasions to everyday regulars.

Must be living in Australia with an easy reach to Restaurant Manager
2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role, may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Strong leadership and organizational skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving
Required Qualifications and Experience
At least an AQF or equivalent bachelor’s degree;
Expected salary: $73,000 - $75,000 per year
