ROYAL RAJPUTANA PTY. LTD, trading as Royal Rajputana, is seeking an experienced Chef for our restaurant located at Shop 5/530 Roghan Rd, Fitzgibbon QLD 4018 for a full time position.

Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery / Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and have at least 2 years' experience as a Chef.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Quality Control: Prepare, cook, and serve menu items with attention to quality at all stages of preparation and presentation.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to hygiene regulations and food safety standards, while enforcing these standards within the kitchen team.
- Menu & Cost Management: Plan innovative menus, estimate food and labor costs, and manage food ordering to meet budget requirements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with managers, dietitians, and both kitchen and waiting staff to discuss food preparation, dietary needs, and service standards.
- Training & Technique: Demonstrate cooking techniques, advice on procedures, and provide training as needed to enhance staff skills and kitchen efficiency.
- Kitchen Operations & Inventory: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including maintenance, mise en place, and inventory control to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Staff Supervision & Scheduling: Lead, train, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a well-organized team and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Quality Assurance & Innovation: Maintain high food quality standards, introduce new dishes, and monitor presentations to meet customer expectations.
- Budget & Supply Management: Manage stock, ensure budget targets are met, and liaise with suppliers to secure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Food Preservation: May freeze and preserve foods as necessary to extend product shelf-life and reduce waste.

A salary of $118,560.00 + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
