About the role
As the HSPO Business Planning and Communications Intern with GM Australia & New Zealand, you?ll gain a diverse range of corporate experience, marketability and exposure to the exciting, fast paced automotive industry.
The primary purpose of this role includes developing an understanding in warehousing principles, management of business data, occupational health and safety in the workplace, interaction with people, project management and communication skills. You will provide support to the warehouse team with labour planning/tracking and metric reporting.
Your responsibilities include:
Manpower tracking and reporting
Metric consolidation and reporting for local, regional and global leadership
Project coordination for continuous improvement solutions/initiatives that cannot be implemented by the supervisor alone.
Assist in highlighting and addressing occupational health and safety issues as they arise in projects responsible for managing.
