Job Description : Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Hand to join their family-owned and operated farming business, starting in January . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong agricultural background who is eager to work on a diverse farming operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate JD Greenstar equipment along with other tractors & machinery (graders, dozers)
Perform spraying, harvesting, and other general farming tasks across 900 HA of dryland and 300 HA of irrigated crops
Work with crops including wheat, mung bean, oats, forage sorghum, barley, chickpea, soybean, and hay production
Manage irrigation systems (center pivot and flood irrigation)
Chemical handling (ChemCert qualification preferred)
Basic mechanical and welding skills for maintenance and repairs
Assist with cattle work
