Position Overview: As a Mechanical Fitter and Turner, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and adjustment of manufacturing equipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our production lines. You will work closely with the maintenance team to keep our equipment running smoothly and address any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
Fabricate and machine replacement parts using lathes, milling machines, and other tools.
Collaborate with other maintenance and production staff to optimize machine performance.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner or equivalent.
