Full Time Diesel Motor Mechanic
SALARY: $45.00 PER HOUR 38 HOURS,
BASE ANNUAL SALARY $88,920 P.A. PLUS SUPER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Detecting and diagnosing faults in heavy vehicles,
• Dismantling and removing faulty parts,
• Replacing and repairing defective parts,
• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services to all fleets,
• Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts and components,
• Perform engine overhauls,
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, drivers and management,
• Document all repairs, perform repairs to manufacturers specifications,
• Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet,
• Perform final checks on vehicles,
• Follow occupational health & safety requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Hold trade certificate or qualification in heavy vehicle mechanical trade and have at least 2 years of work experience in the mechanical/automotive industry.
