Our valued client Metal Recovery Industries based in Rockhampton Qld, is seeking qualified and experienced Electronics Technician to work in their busy workshop
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out a range of scheduled scale tests, repairs, services, calibrations & installations of weighing equipment, instruments & control systems across many sites
Provide a breakdown service including fault diagnoses, testing and commissioning
Apply comprehensive knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles to interpret code, compile documented reports and discuss with supervisors as well as customers
Provide technical support and advice to prevent malfunction to customers through effective communication
Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and manuals with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production
Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise manufacturing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures
Plan, schedule and organise own work within the requirements of the role
Plan, and coordinate with other parties as required
To assist in the daily scrap metal operations as directed
Ability to work in a safe manner at all times, ensuring that Company work procedures and practices are undertaken in a manner that minimises safety hazards at all times
Ability to use industry specific software

Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
