As the General Manager of Business Development and Sales at GuardWare, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development and sales management, who can provide vision, direction, and effective execution to achieve ambitious business goals. This is a hands on role to establish a Sales and Marketing process and team, not for one who expects it all established.
This role is full time with workload and hours normally expected of a General Manager for which competitive salary and conditions apply. Duties include:
1. Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy and plan
2. Drive dIrect and channel sales with middle managers or coordinators
3. Establish strategic channel partnerships
4. Conduct thorough market analysis
5. Coordinate customer relationship management
6. Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
7. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and avenues for revenue generation.
8. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing business development and sales team.
9. Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
10. Develop and manage budgets for business development and sales activities.
11. Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and make data-driven decisions to achieve revenue targets.
Salary includes base salary, superannuation, , bonus and share option incentive based on KPIs.
