Genis Steel are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Elizabeth South SA 5112.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Using electrical test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot faults.
- Identifying, testing, and replacing defective parts in electrical systems and motors.
- Installing, calibrating, and adjusting electrical and control systems for optimal performance.
- Ensuring proper wiring, connections, and power supply for control components, including testing voltage levels and circuit protection.
- Performing preventive maintenance by inspecting and maintaining equipment to avoid breakdowns.
- Preparing operational procedures and documentation to anticipate issues and streamline maintenance schedules.
- Conducting mechanical adjustments and ensuring alignment and clearances of components.
- Calibrating and adjusting sensors, actuators, and communication modules to ensure proper signal functionalites.
- Assembling, installing, testing, and repairing electrical equipment and systems to meet safety and performance standards.
- Working with analog and digital signals and performing system integration and testing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum holds Diploma in Electrical Engineering or 3 years’ relevant experience
Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Employment Type: Full-time position.
