Facilities Manager

The full-time role of Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing base building relationships, improving service delivery and maintaining the day-to-day operational needs of all buildings and associated facilities ensuring a high standard and quality working environment and using innovative strategies and problem solving to meet the demands of each facility.

Our management team work in a hybrid or remote capacity with periodic travel to our various locations.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees building maintenance
• Conducts and reviews regular facilities inspections
• Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment located in each facility location
• Oversee security of all facilities
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing contractors to effectively carry out delivery expectations and building requirements. Effectively liaise with vendors to gain a thorough understanding of any requirements in order to proactively engage relevant stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes with minimal disruption to the ongoing needs of each facility.
• Ensure all financial processes are strictly followed as per facility guidelines with matters relating to contractors, vendors, stakeholders etc.
• Ensure facility financial operations are being met and/or exceeding targets and within budget. Assist with the preparation of plans, budgets and reporting.
• Prepare, lodge and pay all insurances to cover liability, staff, retail, print and storage facilities as well as company vehicles
• Report to management any necessary procedure for optimal functioning of printing facilities, retail/gallery buildings, storage facilities and company vehicles
• Order and purchase equipment, materials and tools required to perform relevant work on all facilities
• Report to management any issues or problems concerning the various retail/gallery buildings, printing facilities and their occupants
• Continually develop and implement strategic plans for storage operations and stock control
• Supervise employees at each location in terms of operational function
• Supervise all aspects of stock management ensuring all items are properly tracked, appropriate records maintained and appropriate planning to maintain stock levels at each location are maintained
• Review, respond to and resolve any and all queries, concerns and complaints relevant to and associated with the storage facilities

Salary: $90K + Superannuation + Bonuses

Essential Skills
• AQF Diploma and 2 years' experience or, at least 3 years prior relevant experience in management of facilities
• Sound knowledge of administration processes and procedures
• Ability to follow up and implement from start to end different projects
• Good communication skills to administrate to both staff and clients
• Understanding of project management within a growing business environment to contribute to building and expanding Fantastic Framing
