Hitech Sheetmetal is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Midvale WA 6056.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, creativity in problem-solving, and proficiency in engineering software. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
- Create detailed mechanical designs.
- Develop prototypes and test mechanical systems to evaluate functionality and performance.
- Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements and specifications.
2. Analysis and Testing:
- Perform engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and fluid flow analysis to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Oversee testing and validation of mechanical systems and components to verify performance against specifications.
3. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to plan project milestones and deliverables.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation including design specifications, testing procedures, and reports.
- Generate and review engineering change orders and other technical documentation as required.
5. Problem-Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve issues related to production and assembly.
6. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering practices and incorporate best practices into work.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong track record in design, analysis, and project management.


Salary range is $85,000 - $95,000pa commensurate with experience
