About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and organised Human Resources Clerk to join our team in Stawell, VIC 3380 on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date employee records, processing employment applications, and providing general administrative support. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Annual Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Employment Type: Ongoing Permanent full-time, 38 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Update and Maintain Records:
Update information on employee profiles.
Record qualifications and training.
Generate data for Weekly HR report including absenteeism and turnover.
Raise records for newly appointed workers and ensure records are complete.
Store and retrieve personnel records and files on request.
Assist to maintain digital HR system.
Application Processing and Onboarding assistance:
Assist employment applications and onboarding process.
Inquiry Management:
Receive and answer inquiries about employment entitlements and conditions.
Answer any query or questions from employees and direct them to appropriate resources.
Answer phone queries and provide general information in a professional and polite manner.
Documentation and Reporting:
Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports.
Assist in processing documentation for the induction of new employees.
Enter new employee details/information into the relevant software platform.
Maintain the HR data/filing system.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements/queries.
Contribute to continuous improvement with procedures and processes.
Administrative Support:
Provide clerical support including photocopying, scanning, filing, archiving, and distributing internal memos.
Provide general administrative support to HR as requested or required.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
AQF Certificate II or III in Human Resources.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Visa and immigration procedures.
Multicultural language desirable; Mandarin, Taiwanese and English, but not essential.
Excellent communication skills.
Sound time management and organisation skills.
Practical problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer literacy and IT skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
