At its core Zaab has the intense and delicious flavours of both Lao and Thai, culminating in unforgettable food and beverage offerings. Staying true to its cultural roots, Zaab brings authentic South East Asian street food to Canberra with a unique and modern twist.
Zaab is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager. This individual must be proactive, demonstrate good management skills and has a strong background in hospitality.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Restaurant Manager, your role will include but not limited to the following:
• Making arrangements for function and event bookings
• Working with Chefs to create menus
• Managing goods purchasing processes according to the available budget
• Managing stock availability and restaurant transactions
• Ensuring food, health, and safety regulations are followed
• Taking customers’ feedbacks and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Training and supervising restaurant staff members to maximise productivity
• Assisting with order-taking and reservations when necessary
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication, multitasking and problem solving skills
• A team player
• Motivated and discipline
• Great attention to detail
• Work well under pressure
• Experience and qualification in the field
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00
