About the role:
An opportunity has arisen to join our Pring depot as an Operations Coordinator. You will use your effective communication and negotiation skills as you coordinate the day of operations at the depot. With a key focus on safety and customer service, you will ensure on-time running of trains through disciplined yard execution and deployment of traincrew.
Continuous engagement with traincrew and yard staff from conducting pre-starts to assigning yard duties.
Ensure the yard plan is executed safely and efficiently.
Ensure that all business activities comply with all the relevant legislation and company procedures.
Interface with Logistics and Rail Infrastructure Manager to ensure the train schedule is delivered safely and cost-effectively.
Participate and deliver input with incident / investigations.
