The Job Role
We are currently looking for experienced Automotive Technicians / Motor Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics to join our team working on a range of vehicles - Audi, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen. We have several workshops located across Metropolitan Sydney.
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team. All applications will be considered, including those seeking temporary visa sponsorship. You'll work in our state of the art workshop diagnosing and repairing our customers' vehicles. It's important that you are capable of completing work to a high standard while at the same time maintaining an efficient work ethic.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair order to vehicle, manufacturer and dealership requirements and report to Workshop Foreman/Controller of any delays or inability to achieve the required outcome
* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest of quality at all times, in line with dealer and manufacture guidelines and standard repair time where possible
* Be familiar with, and maintain knowledge of manufacturer literature, Technical Service and Warranty bulletins and repair procedures as outlined on TOPIx
* To have a good understanding of current vehicle mechanical systems including electrical, transmission and safety control systems
* Ensure accurate clocking for each job line on repair order – including retail, warranty and internal
* Maintain a sound knowledge of all dealership products and services
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current trade qualifications as a motor mechanics / diesel mechanic
* The ability to work in a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong technical and diagnostic skills
* Experience with one or more of our brands will be highly regarded
Salary
