Bake n Flake Bakeries Pty Ltd We are looking for skilled and motivated full-time Pastrycooks to join our team at Bake n Flake at Parklea, NSW. The role involves preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of our eggless and vegetarian baked goods. As a pastrycook, you will follow our unique recipes and ensure that the highest standards of quality, consistency, and freshness are maintained. Task & Responsibilities Inspect and ensure cleanliness of all equipment and the production area before each baking session, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards. Verify the quality of raw materials, carefully weighing and preparing ingredients to follow our recipes accurately. Knead, mix, shape, and mature dough to create a range of baked goods, from breads to pastries. Prepare various pastry fillings, ensuring each product is rich in flavor and texture. Monitor oven temperatures and checking product appearance to ensure perfect baking times and consistency. Oversee the full baking process, including forming, loading, baking, cooling, and unloading batches of bread, pastries, etc. Operate and maintain bakery equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Decorate and finish baked goods, particularly cakes and pastries. Operate bakery machinery, including rolling and moulding dough and cutting biscuits to precise shapes. Clean, grease, and prepare baking trays, tins, and other equipment for the next production cycle. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and ensure consistent quality. Qualification & Experience Highly relevant qualification (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in a bakery or similar environment (experience with eggless baking not essential but desirable). Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Passion for baking and creating high-quality, vegetarian baked goods.
