Imlachs Self Serve Auto Parts is a long established business operating in Springvale and have an opportunity for a Full-Time qualified Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our automotive team.
Salary $75,000 per year plus Superannuation
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
The diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair of various light vehicle makes & models and business equipment
This role reports to the Operations Manager and drives work in our workshop and supports other staff within our business.
Consistently displaying high attention to detail, taking pride in your work and ensuring deadlines are met
Skills & Experience:
Ability to work on all makes and models of light vehicles and equipment.
Minimum 3 years automotive experience
Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic working in the Australian Motor Industry
Relevant trade qualifications
Valid & current Victorian driver’s license
Able to work well unsupervised
Well-presented and well-mannered
Good people skills
Own hand tools
Reliable, punctual and hardworking attributes
Qualifications:
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Certificate IV in Mechanical Diagnosis
Diploma in Automotive Technology
Diploma in Automotive Management
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (Mechanical)
IELTS Average Score > 6
