Monday to Friday rosters - Day Shift
The Role The workshop mechanical fitter is responsible for the general day-to-day mechanical duties associated with new machine builds, machine refurbishment and workshop operation. There may also be a requirement for some travel away to support commissioning and upgrade work. Qualifications and Training:
Mechanical trade certificate
Driver's license C class
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembly and disassembly of machines and machine assemblies.
Pipework and hoses.
Testing and commissioning.
Cut, weld, paint, drill, tap and other general workshop duties.
Mentoring mechanical apprentices and TA's.
Mechanical inspections.
Workshop inspections.
Participate in prestart and safety meetings.
Adhere to all safety standards across the business.
Responsible for correct PPE at all times.
