Key expectations for this position are:
? You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of developing computer systems and applications. This includes designing the system architecture, writing the code, conducting thorough testing, and documenting the entire process
? As part of the development process, you'll use system-analysis methods to gather detailed requirements
? To ensure consistency and best practices, you will be responsible for creating and updating policies, guidelines, and procedures related to the development, testing, and deployment of software systems
? In addition to development tasks, you’ll create and maintain user documentation to help users understand how to use the system effectively.
? Part of your role will be to research emerging technologies and best practices to identify the most suitable solutions for user needs
? You’ll maintain clear records of the system's functionality, technical specifications, and requirements
? You will write the actual code based on the specifications and workflows you’ve created. This involves encoding the functional requirements into a programming language and inputting the code into the computer system for execution, ensuring the software behaves as expected.
It is essential that the applicant has:
? a formal education in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
? at least two years of hands-on experience in a Analyst Programmer role
? should be adept at identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues efficiently
? be comfortable using a range of IT tools, including troubleshooting hardware and software systems, and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
? should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders

? Proficiency in UNIX (basic commands and introductory Shell scripting)
? Experience with SQL Server, Web Services, and IIS (Internet Information Services)
