Electrician

UTech Pty Ltd is dynamic Electrical Contracting Company seeking the services of an Electrician with preferred experience in maintenance work. The position will comprise of installation and maintenance work across a variety of site. Also, on occasions, quoting/estimating minor projects will be required along with attending breakdowns and call-outs.

The successful applicant must be able to meet the following requirements;

At least 5 years post apprenticeship trade experience.
Maintenance experience essential.
Ability to read and understand/modify electrical schematic drawings.
Knowledge of current electrical standards.
Knowledge of basic mechanical principles.
Excellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of our clients and the company.
Be able to work unsupervised and also part of the team.
Be productive to complete tasks within set time frames.
Fault ?nding experience.
Available to work overtime.
Occasionally travel to other areas for work.
Experience in basic electrical design desirable.
Competent in Microsoft of?ce.

To be considered for the position the applicant will also hold;

NSW Electrical Licence.
Construction industry white card
Manual Drivers Licence
Full set of hand tools and power tools
High Risk Licence for WP
Working at Heights training.
First Aid & LVR

Additional consideration for the position will be given to applicants who also hold;

Experience in a Supervisory/Leading hand role.
Extensive Electrical Maintenance experience.

Pay rates will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on skills and previous trade experience. A probation period will be served upon commencement. Depending on experience start rate will be $70,000 PA
