$80,552 - $105,008 (ALA1-ALA8) per annum, plus 17% superannuation.

Your new role
Working with world-class researchers at Curtin and industry leaders, you will develop an underground hydrogen storage strategy, which will enable industry to assess the potential and feasibility of underground hydrogen storage in their assets.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
Conducting hydrogen-conditioned aging experiments and geochemical modelling through geochemical solvers (e.g., PHREEQC or The Geochemist's Workbench).
Designing and conducting triaxial rock mechanical experiments together with micro-CT and/or synchrotron X-rays.
Analysing images from micro-CT and synchrotron X-rays and calculating the displacement and strain fields (volumetric and shear strains) using the TomoWrap 2 open-source software or alternatives.
Working within industry subsurface engineers and geologists to understand reservoir conditions
