Task & Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of crops to monitor health and pest populations, focusing on tomatoes, brussel sprouts, and strawberries. Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to the specific needs of our crops, ensuring alignment with sustainable practices. Apply pesticides and biological controls in compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with farm managers and agricultural specialists to assess pest impacts and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate records of pest activity, treatments, and crop conditions. Educate team members on pest management techniques and preventative measures specific to our produce. Stay updated on industry trends, pest biology, and effective control methods relevant to our crops. Qualification & Experience Proven experience in pest control, specifically with tomatoes, brussel sprouts, and strawberries. Strong understanding of integrated pest management (IPM) principles and practices. Familiarity with pesticides and relevant safety regulations. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and organisational skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between farm locations.
