Task & Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain efficient irrigation systems tailored to the needs of various crops. Monitor soil moisture levels and crop water needs to ensure optimal growth. Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of irrigation equipment to prevent malfunctions. Collaborate with farm managers and agronomists to develop and execute irrigation strategies. Analyze data and implement adjustments to improve water usage efficiency and crop yield. Train farm staff on best irrigation practices and equipment operation. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology. Qualification & Experience Having a relevant qualification or at least one year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. Proven experience in irrigation management, preferably in a commercial agricultural setting. Strong understanding of soil and plant water relationships. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills.
