The Team:
The George Town District Hospital and Community Services provide 15 acute care beds, physiotherapy, dental and podiatry services, and other visiting providers. Other services provided by the Hospital include Palliative care, Community Nursing, Home Help/Personal Care.
Nursing quarters are available, co-located on site for staff to utilise with shared kitchen and bathroom amenities.
George Town Hospital is approximately a 35-minute drive from Launceston, George Town Hospital is centrally located, close to supermarkets/eateries and a five-minute drive to the beaches of Low Head.
The Role:
In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluate patient/client care.
Interact effectively with patients/clients families and other health team members to facilitate the provision of optimum patient/client care.
Active involvement in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care. This may include participation in research and evidence-based practice.
