We have a great opportunity for an experienced trade professional looking to step up into a Leading Hand position at our Cairns - Kenny Street Workshop ! to start something BIG! This is permanent full-time opportunity working a 9 day fortnight, 38 hours per week!
As a Leading Hand, you will:
Provide active leadership to employees to improve performance
Train and develop others including coaching and mentoring
Plan work to the highest efficiency
Monitor jobs for quality and efficiency, providing guidance and ensuring work orders are correct
Ensure tradespersons have work completed by the agreed date
Provide guidance and expertise when required
Proactively identify job quality and efficiency risks
