Due to continuous growth and project wins, Winslow has career opportunities available for a drainer with experience to join our team in Melbourne
THE ROLE
In this hands-on role as a Drainer, you will be required to:
• Assist with general clean and tidy-up of site/site shed including removal of rubbish, debris and excess materials and sweeping
• Setting out and installing drainage systems
• Performing site drainage and de-watering procedures
• Locating and clearing blockages
• Excavating and levelling to line, depth and grade
• Installation of Excavation supports
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Excavation for manholes
• Construction of concrete pits
ABOUT YOU
• Be physically fit
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test ( We have a ZERO Tolerance to drugs on ALL of our sites, projects and offices )
• Have a Construction Industry Card ( White Card )
• Ideally you will have Plant tickets, an HR licence and appropriate experience
• Proven experience as a drainer
• Experience in the following is highly regarded – Bulk Earth Works, Design Earthworks and/or Wetlands Earthworks, subdivisions & pipe laying
• MUST have a valid drivers licence
