As an IT Manager, you will provide support to a variety of teams—artists, designers, programmers, administrative staff, and more—to keep their workstations, software, and other tools running smoothly. You will play a key role in assessing the studio’s infrastructure, anticipating future needs, planning necessary support, and leading our IT Support Technicians team.
From the beginning of your journey with us, you will:
- Provide first-line technical support for users, helping with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage hardware and software inventories, ensure IT resources are secure and compliant, and provide reports as needed.
- Act as the initial point of contact for security alerts from EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) or other security investigations.
- Work closely with the HQ IT Manager, Global Infrastructure, and Infosec teams at Gameloft to enhance standardization, operational efficiency, and security across the company.
- Manage the local IT team by coaching team members, setting clear job expectations, evaluating their performance, and helping them plan and set goals.
- Use monitoring tools like Zabbix to ensure the infrastructure is healthy and responsive.
- Work with virtualization platforms, such as Proxmox, to manage virtual environments.
- Install, license, and troubleshoot development toolchains like Visual Studio and Xcode.
- Manage source control systems, including Git and Perforce.
- Support 2D/3D content creation software, including packages from Maxon, Adobe, and Autodesk.
- Oversee on-premises services and network operations.
- Provide regular reports to the Studio Manager and the HQ IT Manager to ensure alignment with studio and company priorities
- Take a hands-on approach by actively moving equipment in the studio and assisting with shipping.
