Truck Art Livestock Trailers, Located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ two qualified and experienced Welders/Metal Fabricators to commence at their site in Wagga Wagga NSW 2650.
The successful candidate will need to possess and undertake:
- Interpret Engineering Drawings
- Interpret Trailer Specifications sheets (SPEC SHEETS)
- Check drawings and SPEC SHEETS for accuracy and completion prior to commencing manufacturing tasks
- Weld/manufacture items in support of Truck Art Livestock Trailers and other Truck Art businesses
- Provide Quality Control for all manufacturing processes carried out in your bay/Section
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all work related activities
- Ensure your personal safety and the safety of your peers is maintained
- Ensure attendance at the workplace is in accordance with TAT expectations
- Provide a positive image for your supervisors, peers and TAT customers
- Participate in staff development and performance management processes
- Participate in feedback processes in-use within the TAT organisation
- Actively support TAT in its business activities and decisions
- Ensure personal compliance with the TAT Equity and Diversity Policy
- Ensure personal compliance with the TAT WHS policy
- Maintain TAT provided uniform items in a clean and presentable condition
- Ensure your attendance at work is unaffected by alcohol or substances
- Perform other functions within your skill set as requested by TAT
- Personally fund and maintain currency of your Forklift Licence
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of four years’ experience in this role or similar
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience
