The City's Fleet Maintenance and Fabrication team is at the forefront of providing cost-competitive and efficient vehicle, plant and equipment resources to the City. The team provide services including mechanical maintenance, panel and paint repairs, auto electrical services, mobile communications, and metalfabrication. As part of this group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet operates at its best.
About your new role
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for undertaking panel body repairs to the City's fleet of approximately 5,000 vehicle and plant assets. The responsibilities of this role are multi-faceted and include, but are not limited to;
Undertake body and panel repairs,
Applying rust preventative coatings, and
Working safely and following adopted procedures
