This full-time role is based in Dubbo and Central NSW, offering a base rate of $45/hr. The position involves working in both industrial and agricultural environments, with tasks across meat processing and grain facilities. Youll perform a variety of fitter, turner, and machinist duties, so flexibility and a strong willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities:
Set up and adjust machines and equipment
Assemble parts, dismantle, and repair or replace defective components
Operate hand and machine tools
Support installations, expansions, and new projects
Conduct daily mechanical maintenance to reduce downtime
Implement systems to boost efficiency and reduce utility costs
Propose initiatives to improve plant productivity and profitability
Qualifications:
Licensed Fitter and Turner with maintenance experience, ideally in manufacturing
Positive attitude, flexible, and a strong team player
