What you'll need to succeed
Essential experience:
Laboratory or sampling industry recognised qualification.
Experience with AAS (Atomic absorption Spectroscopy)
Experience with Sample preparation: Pulveriser, Jaw/Boyd crusher and rotary/riffle splitter. Sieve shaker.
Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Queensland Legislation
Good computer literacy, including spreadsheet and database development.
Competent user of MS Word and Excel. Experience with laboratory data management and software. (LIMS) Ability to prioritise and schedule work. Good communication and presentation skills. Good analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and dilutions.

Minimum 3 years working in laboratories with experience in CIP/CIL
