TOMRA, a global leader in sorting and recycling technology, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join the team at our Mining Test Centre in Sydney. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Test Centre Engineers and play a key part in preparing samples and ensuring smooth operations within the test centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Geological Sample Preparation for Testing: Responsible for crushing, screening, splitting, and accurately labeling samples, ensuring all materials are well-organized and properly documented.
- Shipping and Receiving of Samples: Coordinate the dispatch and receipt of test samples. This includes gathering quotes, creating shipping manifests in MS Office, scheduling pickups, and checking in samples upon arrival.
- Sample Organization, Documentation, and Packaging: Efficiently manage, document, and package samples for testing.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move large, heavy samples using various attachments, such as jib and drum attachments.
- Facility Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform general maintenance and cleaning to keep the test centre in optimal condition, with some manual handling tasks as required.
- Client Interaction: Welcome and assist visiting clients during specific witnessed testwork sessions.
