We are seeking a skilled PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our project team in Brisbane. Our client is a Queensland-based company with work all over Australia and long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate.
To be successful, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and have:
- A current White / Blue Construction Industry Induction Card
- A positive attitude towards excellence in OHS&E and Quality Assurance
- A keen and enthusiastic approach to your work
- Understand surface preparation and finishes
- Be able to understand and complete works to specifications
Tasks include:
- Select paints, varnishes, and stains for various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers
- Mix to correct ratio of two-part paint coatings etc
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve a specified dry film thickness
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders
- Cleaning equipment and work areas
- All successful applicants will be medically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screening.
