Assist Housekeeping Management and Learning and Development team in the overall training of employees. Be responsible for the supervising of team members, when needed, in the performance of their duties in accordance with relevant regulations and Company Policies, Standards and Procedures to provide a high level of quality service at all times.
Responsibilities
• In consultation with the Learning & Development team, assist with the design, coordination and delivering of training programs based on both employee needs and wider business needs.
• Conduct training sessions in a manner that adheres to organisational guidelines and WHS laws and regulations at all times
• Ensure quality training sessions are delivered to all housekeeping staff; monitor team members’ performance both in and out of training in collaboration with Management.
• Review and update existing training programs to provide consistency of delivery as necessary.
• Identify operational difficulties regarding training or otherwise, in order to assist the Learning & Development team and Housekeeping Management in its objective to improve business processes and / or systems to increase efficiency.
• Participate in all training programs as requested by the Housekeeping Manager and/or Learning & Development team, and clarify any tasks, concepts or procedures that are unclear.
• As required, supervise all housekeeping employees and inspect guest rooms to ensure that standards of cleanliness and guest comfort are maintained in accordance with the SOP’s
• Efficiently clean assigned number of rooms or areas in keeping with departmental standards
• Undertake other tasks as directed by your manager

Hourly rate $28.8711 per hour as per Hospitality Industry General Award
Rotating roster of 76 hours per fortnight. Hours of work will be between 8.00am to 4pm, Monday to Sunday.
