Full Time Software Engineer
Salary $85,000 + Superannuation
Detailed duties and responsibilities of the Software Engineer in our business are as follows:
• Design, code, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
• Develop efficient algorithms, date structures, and coding practices to create high-quality software.
• Write, debug, and optimize code in various programming languages (such as Java, Python, C++, etc.) to implement software solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to design software architecture, components, and modules that meet business requirements and are scalable and maintainable.
• Analyse complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects to ensure smooth functionality.
• Develop and execute unit’s tests, integration tests, and system to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of the software.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation, to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with cross- functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance, to deliver software projects on time and according to requirements.
• Participate in Agile or Scrum development methodologies, attend daily stand-up meetings, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective sessions.
• Understand user and business needs to create new software features or improve efficiency of existing software system.
• Design, develop and create software applications and solutions related to enterprise architecture, business process analysis and business strategy.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
• Relevant bachelor’s degree and or Certifications
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for the efficient problem-solving.
• Experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and practices (version control, code reviews, testing, etc.)
• Knowledge of mobile app development for platforms like Android (Java/Kotlin) or Ios (Swift/Objective-C)
• Proficiency in working with databases, including designing schemas, writing SQL queries, and understanding database optimisation.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party APIs.
Need coding skills/knowledge of:
• Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, etc., depending on the project’s requirements.
• Front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Back-end (server-side scripting, databases) technologies for web application development.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Spring, Django, etc….
