We are currently looking for Mechanical Technician to join our team!
Main Purpose
The Mechanical Technicians are responsible for assisting with the day to day workshop activities
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Assist with the day to day workshop operations
Liaise with and supervise external contractors as required
Carry out duties related to mechanical workshop
Monitor and undertake repairs and servicing for all Ducats Trucks and equipment
Test run plant and equipment following major repairs
Running diagnostic tests on vehicles and equipment
Analyzing diagnostic test results
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Performing preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Maintaining detailed records of serviced equipment
Maintaining a parts inventory
Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop
Skills and Experience
Diploma or Certificate in mechanical or automotive engineering
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of engine components
Good IT and diagnostic skills
Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
Attention to detail - Must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
