Task & Responsibilities Monitor sales data and stock levels, analysing trade, manufacturer, and market information to stay informed about changing market conditions. Negotiate purchasing, promotional, and supply arrangements with suppliers to optimize product offerings. Design and implement pricing, marketing, promotional, and display strategies to maximize sales. Collaborate with management on long-term planning and sales promotions to drive store performance. Establish working plans based on seasonal demands and budgetary requirements. Anticipate consumer trends to determine the quantity, style, and quality of goods to be purchased. Inspect, compare, and evaluate products to ensure they meet quality standards. Coordinate with suppliers to receive samples for evaluation and testing. Monitor inventory turnover and manage stock levels to minimise waste and ensure product availability. Qualification & Experience Relevant Qualification and at least 2 years of work Experience in retail buying, purchasing, or merchandising is preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data and market information. Ability to anticipate trends and make decisions in a fast-paced retail environment. Knowledge of product inspection and valuation etc. High attention to detail with a strategic and consumer-focused approach.
