About Northern Beaches Hospital Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients. NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards. Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in the local area. It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone. Key to the hospital's success is a highly skilled and expert team of staff who are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities. About the Role We have an exciting opportunity a Registered Nurse in our Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Ward. Ward 6C is a 30 bed public medical ward predominately caring for oncology patient's and patients requiring end of life care. The 6C staff strive to provide care that is evidenced based and patient centred. We are looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) who are eager to join our supporting and caring team, who are focused on patient centred care but also work as a team and foster a strong team culture. To be successful:

Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Minimum 1 to 2 years in an Acute hospital setting experience is essential
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
Flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster. We offer 12hr shifts.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79per hour.
