The Real World Evidence (RWE) Specialist is a pivotal role within Montu’s new medical affairs department, responsible for advancing clinical evidence and insights to enhance the experience of patients and healthcare providers. This role will drive Montu's evidence-based approach by leveraging our extensive internal data, supporting data generation strategies through project design, analysis, and publication of real-world evidence (RWE) studies. Working closely with the Data and Analytics team and cross-functional partners, the RWE Specialist will uncover valuable clinical insights regarding treatment efficacy, patient outcomes, and product-specific attributes to inform both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic insights to optimize medication use and applicable healthcare technologies.
- Establish Montu as a leader in real-world evidence and analytics within the medicinal cannabis industry.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and the ability to develop and support relationships internally as well as with key external stakeholders
- Contribute to the epidemiological and clinical knowledge base for medicinal cannabis treatment in Australia.
- Develop and guide the RWE strategy and tactical plans for targeted patient groups.
- Design and execute RWE studies, including protocol development and rigorous analytical planning.
- Analyse clinical data to support market access, health economics, and RWE objectives.
- Ensure high standards in data validation and testing to prevent misinterpretation of findings.
- Coordinate with external vendors, providing protocol guidance and analysis clarification as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on findings and project updates.
- Ensure accuracy and reproducibility of deliverables through robust documentation and quality controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret and communicate RWE findings effectively.
- Drive innovation in study design by exploring new data sources and advanced analytical methods.
- Balance multiple RWE projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as required for conferences and meetings.
