The Opportunity
Our Australian Steel Markets business is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Distribution sector based in Acacia Ridge, QLD.
In this customer-facing opportunity, you will strengthen relationships with our key customers, now and for the future. While developing sales strategies you will ensure profitable growth of revenue, margin and market share for our business with a key focus on the Distribution markets.

What Will You Do?
With an office base at Acacia Ridge, you will be out on the road visiting new and existing customers on a regular basis, covering the Brisbane market as well as some regional QLD locations. Working with our brands such as XLERPLATE® steel, TRU-SPEC®, Redcor®, Zincalume®, TRUECORE® and Colorbond® steel, you will:
- continue to strengthen partnerships with our existing customers and identify further service improvement and growth opportunities with a focus on distribution products
- identify new customers through building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders - including industry bodies and specialists
- develop and execute targeted call cycles and account strategies aligning to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions
- work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and deliver an exceptional service

- account management experience within a business-to-business environment
- exceptional relationship management and influencing capability
- the ability to understand customer requirements and create attractive product and service solutions
- commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitability
