About The Way Back Service The Way Back is a non-clinical support service focused on providing trauma-informed, recovery- orientated psychosocial support, for up to 3 months, to people who have experienced a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis.
The Way Back delivers support in partnership with Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) and the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) in the Brisbane North region. As a non-clinical service, The Way Back views clinical and psychosocial support as complementary rather than alternate approaches.
Position Objective:
Work with a range of individuals, with a particular focus on supporting people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Desirable selection criteria:
Demonstrated interest and/or experience working with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. About the role
