Our client is an Australian gold producer, developer and explorer in WA and they are currently after a Laboratory Supervisor .
Job Requirements:
Cert IV in Lab Techniques;
Radiation Safety Officer accreditation;
Knowledge and understanding of C Class lab recording and reporting system;
Development and review of Job Hazard Analysis documentation;
Intermediate computer literacy ? Microsoft Office, CCLAS.
Position Duties:
Provide leadership, direction, and development while maintaining optimum performance of equipment to achieve low-cost production;
Responsible for mentoring, leading, and training technicians in laboratory tasks, from sample preparation through to analysis and reporting;
Troubleshoot all aspects of gold analysis, specifically Fire assay and PAL analysis;
Update and maintain laboratory procedures and other documentation for relevance and accuracy.
