Sunshine Reef Pty Ltd - The XO group runs Embassy XO and 2 wine Cellars in Noosa and Sunshine Beach. We have been in business at this location since 2010. Daily tasks include:
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
• Strive to enhance food preparation and presentations.
• Ensure that food is served simultaneously, with high quality and in a timely manner.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of all menu items, daily specials, and promotions. Respond to, report on, and follow the executive or sous chef's instructions.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Executive Chef on menu creation while optimizing kitchen operations.
• Demonstrate mastery of techniques such as deep frying, stir-frying, oven cooking, and steaming, among others.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including tasks like chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
• Cook menu items in coordination with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Enforce stringent health and hygiene standards.

Requirements:
1) Relevant Cookery Qualification
2) At least 1 year of work experience working as a chef
3) Ability to prepare and cook menu items to a high standard.
4) Ability to ensure health and safety of food and fellow staff
5) Must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Annual salary: $74,000 - $80,000 + superannuation (Full-time: 40 hours of work per week)
