FSC Group is looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Richmond VIC 3121. Site Engineers at FSC work on infrastructure projects for various clients in the road, rail, tunnelling, utilities and associated sectors.
As a Site Engineer you will help schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
You will work with our clients and other FSC team members to plan, deliver, and hand over projects throughout Victoria.
Responsibilities:
In general, your responsibilities would include the following:
- Assist in the preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Work within the requirements of the project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project team and other project participants to aid and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements
You will be a motivated and proactive engineer with the right combination of energy and a commitment to learning, bring your perspective ands skills to diverse projects, and have an ambition to design your own career path.
You will also have:
- A degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
- An ability to work constructively in project teams to solve problems, drive a health and safety culture and produce quality outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise positively with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of innovative client solutions
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
