Position: Chef (ANZSCO 351311)
Location: Potts Point, NSW
Salary: $73,000 ~ $75,000 plus Superannuation
As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
- Working closely with the executive chef to develop menu ideas
- Managing daily production and planning
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking and orderings
- Costing and controlling kitchen operations
- Managing and work closely with other Chefs to all levels
- Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a climate of cooperation and respect between team mates
- Train junior kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook food based on the recipe guideline
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualification(s) in the culinary field
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
